Last night, my friend Roxana (see below) invited me to attend a live broadcast of TVR (officially known as Televisión Registrada) on Channel 13, performed in downtown Buenos Aires. TVR is a 2-hour long program that recaps all of the week's events (sort of like the Jon Stewart show in the US). Roxana is a personal friend of the co-host, Gabriel Schultz (seen on the right side of the photo here), so we were given VIP access and we were able to meet the hosts after the show. TVR is the most-watched program in all of Argentina on Saturday nights and our faces appeared a few times as they panned the audience. On a separate note, this weekend was the beginning of Spring here and the city was pretty excited with signs in all the stores wishing everyone a "Feliz Dia de Primavera!" Warm weather will soon be upon us!
