Last Photos of La Paz from El Alto

On the way back from Tiahuanaco, our group stopped off in El Alto, a huge city (1 million + people) that sits on the top of La Paz, at 13,000 feet above sea level. This used to be part of La Paz, but is now a separate city. Thankfully the clouds had cleared and the driver pulled over so we could take in some panoramic views of the city of La Paz below (click on the images to enlarge them for a better perspective).

It's been a great trip to Bolivia and I hope to return some day.
