Following our initial stay in Athens, we boarded the cruise ship last Monday morning for the day-long journey to Mykonos. Probably Greece's most popular island, celebrated for its nightlife and beautiful beaches, Mykonos didn't disappoint.
Fortunately the weather was ideal so we got to enjoy the day on the ship at the pool (all you can drink, too!), and were able to disembark to Mykonos in the afternoon. One of the marvels of Mykonos is the incredible sunset view from the top of the hills. Fortunately, others on the cruise ship weren't aware of this, so when we arrived at the top of the hill (a short 15 minute hike), we had the place to ourselves to enjoy a beer at a local cafe while watching the sun drift off into the ocean.
