On Sunday, I took a 45 minute bus ride to
Villa Carlos Paz. This is a very popular summer tourist destination for Portenos and I now see why. It is a lakeside community, filled with lots of hotels, restaurants and outdoor activities, such as hiking, boating, and biking. I took a ski-lift to the top of one of the mountains there and spent the afternoon exploring. At night, the town is hopping. There is a main street that ia packed with bars and discos. Unfortunately, the last bus back to Cordoba was at midnight so, upon arriving back in the city at 1, I relaxed for a bit, had some food, then headed to a boliche (disco), not to arrive home until 7 am when the sun was coming out.
