Buenos Aires is definitely an eclectic city. The past few days, the Centro Cultural Recoleta (eight blocks from my apartment and next to the cemetery) has played host to the Festival Cuidad Emergente. Free to the public, it featured emerging new artists - both musical and visual. The concept is to encourage discussion and, throughout the venue, were "meeting areas" where attendees could engage in discussions about the exhibits. In addition to art exhibits, rock concerts and cinema, the festival included a live demonstration of street art (graffiti) by professionals. I spent a few hours there this afternoon/evening, strolling around and taking in the ambience.

Matt,
That looks pretty cool, thanks for posting that. I'm about 5 blocks away. But boy are the blocks long!
